Donation Guidelines

Your items should be in good repair

Upholstered items should be free of any rips, stains, or excessive fading.
Wood items should not have excessive watermarks/discoloration, chipped edges, missing hardware/parts etc.
Items should be clean, and free of mildew, mold or pet hair.
Items must be pest-free.
Please pay close attention to our size restrictions: we cannot accept oversized/bulky items because our clients’ apartments are small and the hallways/staircases are narrow.

Items we can accept:

(Please note that our driver is authorized to decline your items if they exceed the dimension limits)

Queen and Full-size Mattresses and Box Spring in clean, very good condition. (NO TWINS – sorry, we are overloaded. NOTE: For pick-up purposes, mattress, box spring and metal frame count as ONE item.)
Bunk Beds (Twin over Twin only, disassembled, with a photo of assembled set and all hardware bagged and attached)
Toddler Beds
Dressers (max. length = 60″, max. height =48″)
Night Stands
Kitchen/Dining Tables (Max length 60″ for rectangular and 48″ diameter for round; legs must be removeable; no glass, marble or tile-topped tables) (NOTE: For pick-up purposes, table and chairs cant as ONE item)
Kitchen/Dining Chairs (NOTE: For pick-up purposes, a set of chairs counts as ONE item)
Rolling Kitchen Carts
Sofas / Couches (max. length 78″) (no sleeper sofas, no reclining)
Sectionals – SMALL-SCALE sectionals only – please submit a photo to determine if your sectional sofa qualifies for donation.
Futons (max. length 78″, must have cushion)
Upholstered Side/Armchairs
Recliners: (non-motorized only)
Coffee Tables (max. size 3′ by 3′, no glass or marble tops)
Occasional tables (max. size 3′ by 3′, no glass marble tops)
Desks (max width 48″, no corner desks)
Rolling Desk Chairs (not oversized)
Bookcases (max. height 48″)
TV Stands (max. width 48″, no glass doors or shelves)
Televisions – Flat Screens only (max size 60″)
Area rugs (max. size 8′ on any side, CLEAN, vacuumed & rolled with pattern outside, no pads)
Lamps (table or floor in working order)
Mirrors (max. size 3’x3′)
Artwork (max. 4’x4′)
Countertop Microwaves
Small kitchen countertop electric appliances (in working order)
Fans (must be CLEAN and in working order)
Linens (Only sets in excellent condition)
Home decor
Housewares (must be complete sets)
